Who will clean my property?
We will allocate one of our carefully selected cleaners experienced in domestic cleaning. We will let you know their background and whether they have a particular skill such as ironing (should it be required). All our cleaners are fully vetted with excellent references. Our cleaners work on a self-employed basis and will be paid directly by you. You are welcome to meet your cleaner before they start.
When can I have cleaning?
Most of our cleaners work Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. However, should you prefer a weekend or evening clean, we can usually accommodate this. You can chose a weekly or fortnightly clean and we ask for a minimum of 2 hours per session. We also offer one-off cleans and end of tenancy cleaning and can provide all the materials required for this.
What cleaning materials do you use?
For domestic cleaning our clients provide all cleaning materials as there are so many products available and this is a very personal choice. We are able to provide materials for one-off cleans and commercial cleaning and will use eco/green products wherever possible.
Is there a contract?
At Bay Tree we don't believe in tie-ins. We just ask for a couple of weeks notice should you wish to change, rearrange or cancel. Allowing us time to offer replacement work to your cleaner. We have a service agreement which outlines all the things we offer plus our requirement from you. This will be sent to you via email or post once your cleaning is confirmed.
What will it cost?
All our services are based on an hourly rate dependant on whether you are having regular cleaning or a one-off/spring clean. Our Welcome Pack explains this in greater detail.
Why should I pay a management fee?
We fully appreciate that you could find a cleaner without using a management service. However, there are many benefits of going through The Bay Tree Cleaning Company. Firstly, we have a strict recruitment procedure and only hire the best cleaners. We can also provide cover when your cleaner is on holiday or off sick should you wish and of course, we provide full insurance cover for both your property and the cleaner should any accidents happen.
Do I need to be at home during the clean?
No, though you can be if it makes you more comfortable. We have a strict policy regarding keys and alarm codes so you can relax when you are out.
What if I am unhappy with my clean?
We generally ask that you give your cleaner a couple of sessions in your home to give them the opportunity to establish a routine. If, for whatever reason you are not totally happy please do let us know. It may be that the cleaner requires more time or just doesn't 'fit in' with your household. In the unlikely event of this, we would assign another cleaner.
